We will start our  Split to Rovinj Transfer via Plitvice Lakes private tour by picking you up at  your hotel or private accommodation address at previously agreed time of departure with one of our private cars or minivans.

You will enjoy in relaxing drive from Split to Plitvice Lakes to Rovinj trough Croatian hinterland, especially trough mountain countryside regions with photo or coffee stop along the way. Duration of the trip is up to 3 hours.

Firstly, we will ride on one of Croatia backbone highways, direction north. During this scenic and relaxing drive, we will have coffee and photo stops along the way.

PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK

Arriving at National Park Plitvice Lakes, which is one of the most popular destinations, not only in Croatia but in fact in whole Europe.

Plitvice Lakes are on UNESCO World Heritage list as from 1979., and it is the oldest national park in South East Europe. It is a natural phenomenon of 16 large and small cascaded lakes with waterfalls in between.

Lakes cover area of 300 square kilometers and roughly eight kilometers from one end to the other. Tour of the National Park takes roughly 3 hours, and it includes walking/hiking along lower and upper lakes, ride with electric boat over the largest lake and for those who get tired at the end they can rest on the road train and enjoy in the ride trough thick forrest.

Highlight of the park is „Veliki Slap“, or in english – Big Waterfall. Height of this waterfall is 78 meters. After walking trough this natural masterpiece you will probably be very hungry.

On your request, we can recommend you one of „local restaurants“, where you will enjoy food from Lika region. Lika is well known for exellent lamb, trout fish, cheese, potato…etc.

We continue our journey to Rovinj, our last destination of the day. Enjoy in beautiful scenic drive trough Lika countryside. After roughly one hour and fourthy minutes we will reach one of Croatia scenic highways named „Goranka“. This highway is cutting its way trough some of our highest mountains.

Driving trough one of those mountains will bring us to our largest peninsula – Istra. It is magical piece of land in our country rich with history, and some of our best wines and food.

Rovinj has also settled in Istra. Coming to this town brings our trip to an end.
